内容简介：一次百年难遇的洪水冲毁了下渊村近三十户人家的房子，黎称亮家也是其中的一户。灾难使他们原来就贫困不堪的生活变得更加艰难。为了重新拥有属于自己的房子，借住在他人家中的黎称亮夫妇和其他灾民们一起走上了漫长而艰难的建房之路。
为了筹集建房资金，他们想尽办法，却四处碰壁，而粮食、小孩学费等各种生活必要开支，也成了这群一无所有的灾民们必须面对的难题……重重困难和巨大的生活压力，几乎使他们放弃了希望。但对于中国农民来说，房子是他们的命根子，他们在努力，在争取。最后，为了能早日拥有自己的房子，老婆阿香远走他乡打工……

　               
导演简历：郑晓蕾，1994年进入广州电视台从事电视编导工作，主要作品《阿八姑》、《新机场的德国小伙》、《他乡广东人》、《南国纪事》、《两地情》、《我在中国有个家》等先后获得广州市广播电视新闻一等奖、广东省广播电视新闻二等奖、广东省对外宣传电视节目金鹊奖二等奖，其中《阿八姑》先后参加第三届中国广州国际纪录片大会、加拿大Doc Talk国际纪录片节、Hot Docs国际纪录片节、美国纽约布鲁克林国际电影节、德国莱比锡国际纪录片节等，并获得美国布鲁克林国际电影节纪录片类提名奖、中国广播电视协会2005年度城市电视社教节目长纪录片一等奖及省市其他奖项。
李林，2001年进入广州电视台国际部从事编导工作。主要作品《双溪牛仔》、《他乡广东人》、《大花农和小花商》、《韩国女孩学粤菜》、《两地情》分别获“东方休闲之都”全国易地采访评奖活动一等奖、广东省外宣节目“金鹊奖”三等奖、广州市广播电视新闻奖社教类二等奖。

Brief Synopsis：A catastrophic flood left nearly 30 families homeless in Xiayuan Village. Villager Li Chengliang’s family was one of them. The disaster put the already impoverished families into even more straitened circumstances. But Li Chengliang and his wife, temporarily staying under the roof of other unaffected villagers, began a long way full of hardship like other victims to rebuild their homes.
To raise enough money, they tried every means and every effort, but to no avail. At the same time, money for food, for their kids’ tuition fee and daily necessities was also a big problem these homeless villagers had to face…Difficulties and heavy life pressure were driving them to give up their hope. But to Chinese farmers, a house of their own is essential to their lives. So they were still trying very hard. In order to own a house as early as possible, Li’s wife Ah Xiang left home looking for work elsewhere.

C.V.of Directors: Sarah Zheng joined Guangzhou TV as a director in 1994. Her key works include “The Racer”, “The German Lad at the New Airport”, “The Cantonese Away from Home”, “Anecdotes of Southern China”, “A Bridge of Love” and “My Home in China”. She won Second Prize at the Guangdong Provincial Foreign Publicity TV Programs Gold Magpie Awards and a Second Prize of the Guangzhou Foreign Publicity TV Programs Awards. And the TV documentary The Racer, which entered the 3rd China (Guangzhou) International Documentary Film Festival, Doc Talk Canada, Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival, Brooklyn International Film Festival and Leipzip International Documentary Film Festival, was nominated at the Brooklyn Film Festival and awarded the First-class Prize of 2005 Social Programs of Selective Campaign, Association of Radio & Television China.
Li Lin joined GZTV in 2001 and has since worked as a director. The major works she produced include: Cowboy in Shuangxi Town, The Cantonese Far from Home, The Flower Grower & the Seller, The Korean Girl Learning to Cook Cantonese Dishes, and A Bridge of Love. She was awarded with the third-class prize at the Guangdong Provincial Foreign Publicity TV Programs Gold Magpie Award, the first-class prize from the National Trans-regional Report Award, and the second-class prize from the Guangzhou Radio & TV Social-Educational News Award.
