内容简介：2002年，几个做田野调查的中国二战学者在一个乡村人家珍藏的老相册里发现了一副美军在云南的乡野间举行葬礼的照片，这些学者认为这张照片中的美国军人就是他们一直听说但从来没有找到过历史依据的远征军美国顾问团成员。远征军美国顾问团建立于1943年，这只四千人的特别部队为中国军队提供军事和武器培训，他们的首要军事任务是帮助中国远征军夺回1941年失手的滇缅公路，因为远征军属于蒋介石政府，所以他们在抗击日本的过程中那些重要的牺牲和胜利被忽略了很多年，作为盟军伙伴而参与到战争中的美军顾问团更几乎完全被忘记了。为了还原一段历史的真相，他们决意寻找这张照片背后的故事……

Brief Synopsis：
In 2002 a group of Chinese historians found an old picture in a village in Yunnan province, where the ‘Y force’ had been fighting against the Japanese 60 years before.This was a picture of an anonymous U.S. soldier’s funeral. The group of Chinese historians considered this picture might be a proof of U.S. special troops in ‘Y force’. ‘Y force’ Established under allied force’s help in 1943, ‘Y force’ was created for the purpose of recapturing Burma Road, which had been taken by Japanese forces two years prior. Since ‘Y force’ was Kang-Kai-shi’s (Chiang Kai-shek’s) army, the knowledge of their sacrifices and victories were buried & hidden from the Chinese for many years. More than 4000 American soldiers who were fighting with ‘Y force’ were also nearly forgotten. They decided to search and find out the stories behind the picture.
