内容简介：人类是组织与秩序的创造者。害虫，比如蟑螂、蝗虫之类的则是自私，不尊重人类的组织与秩序。本片探讨了人类与害虫之间的互相依赖的关系。害虫入侵我们的家中，带来种种不便语恐慌。本片是一部讲述我们人类与害虫直至最终与自然的关系的影片。在一个日益暖化和危险的世界中我们是需要害虫来维系生态平衡的。

 
导演简历：米娜•拉莫现为赫尔辛基大学影视系艺术设计学院的研究生。该片是她的第一部影视作品。卡娅•洛塔玛提曾在芬兰学习过摄影，人类学及纪录片制作。它现居于黎巴嫩，并进修影视研究生课程。她的作品包括《一切背后》（2002），《钢丝索》（2003），《不仅是医生》（2003），《女生们》（2005），《人类与害虫》（2007）。

Brief Synopsis：
A human being is a creatur that organizes. Creating order is our way of ensuring the continuity of life. A pest, however - be it a silverfish, a cockroach or a pharaoh ant - does not respect the human domicile and its rules. The pests come and go in our homes  - creating great discomfort and feelings of insecurity.
THE PESTS is a film about our relation to the pests and finally to the nature itself.  In a warm and humorous way the film reveals us and our need for the“right”order.

Filmography：
Mina Laamo (born 1978) is MA-student at the University of Arts and Design, Department of Film and TV and MA-student at the University of Helsinki, studies of general literature. The Pests is her first film as screenwriter and director.
Katja Lautamatti (born 1976) has studied photography, anthropology and documentary film directing in Finland. For the moment she lives in Lebanon where she works as a documentarist and attends MA-studies in
cinema.
