内容简介：与世界其他民族相比，中国壮族所居住的地理环境其实并不算优越，是以喀斯特地貌为主，他们选择背靠大山，面对水田、溪水河流环绕的地方建村立寨，无数个小小的村落中繁衍出了中国人口最多的少数民族，这其中奥妙何在呢？
壮族先民是世界上最早种植水稻的民族，水稻种植离不开水，为保证充足而稳定                                                                     的水源供应，壮族发展出了独特的“竜”崇拜传统，“竜”是壮族村寨的水源林，在壮族社会中，有人仅仅因为触犯了“竜”就被吓疯，有人为了保护“竜”，公然开枪打人而不惜坐牢。
在壮乡，有多少个壮族村庄，就有多少座长满茂密森林的竜山，正是有了这数不清的绿色宝库，壮乡大地才能终年流水潺潺，延续几千年的稻作文明才能薪火相传，“竜”崇拜的背后，体现的是壮族人民崇尚自然、敬畏自然、与自然和谐共处的伟大生存智慧。

谭乐水,云南电视台资深纪录片编导，作品获得过《“五个一”工程奖》并入选德国歌廷根人类学电影节。
    欧阳斌，昆明电视台资深纪录片编导，作品曾先后入选第一届、第二届广州国际纪录片大会。

Brief Synopsis：
Comparing with other nationality of the world, the environmental geography of Zhuang living is not quite good, actually, with karst topography of most area. The Zhuang people set up villages at the location, where upon the hills, facing rice field and
arrounding by the rivers. As the most-population minority of China, the Zhuang live in so many small villages. What does it mean to us?

As the pioneers to plant rice in human’s history, ancestors of Zhuang concerned in water. With the aim to save the water supply, ancestors of Zhuang specially created the traditional worship of “Long”. The “Long”means the forest of water original. In the society of Zhuang, there are some people are scaled, as a resulting of angerizing the “Long”, and others shooting people by gungs, just for protecting the “Long”.

Arrounding those villages of Zhuang, the “Long” hills are just like many green fortunes, to maintain the irrigation. So that, rice civilization of Zhuang lasts for thousands years. The traditional worship of “Long” means the living smart of Zhuang, as respect for nature, and harmonizing with nature.
