内容简介：这是一部关于湿地的科普纪录片。
在开发与利用大自然赋予人类的丰富资源时，是以人的福祉为先，还是以保护生态环境为前提，始终是人类社会发展所要面对的难题。
不可逆转性决定了天然湿地一旦被破坏就再也不能恢复，而依赖湿地生存、繁衍的野生动植物也将随之减少直到消失，真的到了那么一天，不知是候鸟的悲哀还是人类的悲哀。
作为国际化大都市的香港，至今仍然保留着一片天然湿地，成为迁徙候鸟的天堂。它的管理模式和成功经验，或许能为发展中的国家和地区提供可资的借鉴。

导演简历：周晓林是广东电视台资深纪录片导演。
1985年从华南师范大学中文系毕业，随后在广东电视台制作外宣专题节目。1991赴北京广播学院进修电视节目制作。1994年起从事电视纪录片创作，先后拍摄了20部纪录片。

Brief Synopsis： This is a popular science documentary about wetland.
 When it comes to exploring and exploiting the abundant resources that Nature endows to man, it has always been a thorny problem to decide which is to be put in the first place: human’s well-being or the protection of ecological environment in the development of mankind’s society.  Once destroyed, the natural wetland can no longer be restored. Thus the wildlife relying on the wetland to survive and multiply will decrease with the diminishing of it until they vanish one day. If that day really comes, you may wonder whether it is the tragedy of those migratory birds or of mankind.
Hong Kong, an international metropolis today, still reserves a natural wetland as the paradise for migratory birds. Their successful management and experience may serve as valuable reference for many developing countries.

Filmography：
Graduating from the Department of Chinese of South China Normal University in 1985, he started his career as director and editor with Guangdong TV Station. He was in Beijing Broadcast Institute taking courses in TV program production in 1991. He has been involved in producing television documentaries since 1994 and has so far produced twenty documentaries.
