内容简介：中华对角羚原名普氏原羚，是青海湖畔比大熊猫还要稀少的濒危野生动物，这一物种目前全世界不足300只。如此稀有的动物，葛玉修的镜头自然不会错过。为了拍摄普氏原羚，葛玉修经常在零下２０多度的高原清晨潜伏，冒着随时被狼群攻击的危险，一等就是两三个小时。
普氏原羚作为中国独有的羚羊物种，却起着一个叫起来拗口的外国名字。能不能为普氏原羚起个中国名字？经与专家研究，考虑到普氏原羚为我国所独有，葛玉修发出了给普氏原羚起个中国名字“中华对角羚”的呼吁。在他的努力下，“中华对角羚”的名字被越来越多的专家和学者认可，并且越叫越响，远播海内外。葛玉修也当之无愧地被人们称作“中华对角羚之父”。
葛玉修说，他希望用手中的镜头诉说逝去的美好和自然的危机，期盼着人与自然和睦相处的和谐景象。

导演简历：本人于1995年 7月分配到青海电视台工作。1997年6月参加了《假日风景》栏目的编导、撰稿工作，2004年青海电视台在三项制度改革后，成为该栏目的制片人，并担任栏目的编导、撰稿工作。

Brief Synopsis：Synopsis of “In Search of the Chinese Gazelles”
The Chinese Gazelle, or Przewalski's Gazelle, is a kind of wild animals in extinction, the number of which is about 300, lesser than that of the giant panda. Ge Yuxiu cannot miss the chance to photograph this rare animal by his lens. In order to do this, he always spends a long time on prairie from dawn, with a temperature of 20℃ below zero, as well as the danger of wolves.
This kind of gazelles, typical in China, has a very complicated name, Przewalski's Gazelle. Why not creating a Chinese name for it? After discussing this with specialists and taking consideration of the fact that only China has this kind of gazelles, Ge Yuxiu initiated a proposal of giving Przewalski's Gazelle a Chinese name, Chinese Gazelle. With his efforts, the name Chinese Gazelle is acknowledged by more and more scholars and specialists, not only in China, but also in foreign countries. Therefore, Ge Yuxiu is reputed as the “Father of the Chinese Gazelle”.
Ge Yuxiu says, he wants to use his camera to describe the passing beauty and the crisis in nature, and hopes that people would live in harmony with nature.
