　　内容简介：周智的大家庭在当地农村小有名气，从1775年起，周氏家族连续出了四个四世同堂。作为现在这个四世同堂家庭的一家之长，周智依照祖传的“传家宝训”严格治家，他本人在家里向来独断专行，说一不二。上个世纪80年代，颇有经济头脑的周智办了一个砖厂，并因此成为村里首先富裕起来的农民，后来，周智承包了300亩荒山种水果，由于种种原因，周智欠下了几十万的债务，大家庭由此走入经济困境，并诱发了早就潜伏在这个大家庭的一连串的矛盾：大儿媳不满周智的暴躁脾气，要求分家；十几年前，周智夫妇包办了大女儿的婚姻，为了父母的面子，大女儿一直痛苦地维持名存实亡的婚姻，在忍无可忍之下，大女儿引发了大家庭最为激烈的冲突；二女儿的婚事虽然是自由恋爱的结果，但在荒山种果的日子里，二女儿不满丈夫的不争气，愤而出走；三女儿是周家唯一的中专毕业生，她选择了一条不同于家庭其他成员的生活道路。周智为了大家庭的完整，苦苦地经营着，家庭风波中所显现的亲情、爱情、友情令人回味。

　　导演简历：黄灵平，1983年进入广西电视台从事纪录片编导和摄影工作，主要作品有《舞狮人》、《再生之路》、《亲情》、《梯田上的人家》、《我们走过的岁月》、《最后的迁徙》等。
