　　Brief Synopsis: The film shows the world of adults reflected in a “distorting mirror” of demeanors, games and plays of the pre-school age children. Girls play a family and complain that one of them has to be a man; others play a hospital, dealing with the gravest of accidents; boys exchange comments on a nature of girls… With a specific way of intonation, gestures and mimics they exaggerate and put in focus the behavioral schema that ordinarily escape our attention.

　　Presenting the children plays that take place in over ten pre-school gardens in Warsaw, the film grasps a moment of a transition of social norms, of a change of convictions, of observable modifications of ideas that nowadays families go through.

　　Filmography: Maciej Adamek, born in 1968 in Gdańsk. Studied Polish literature at the Gdańsk University and then film directing at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. Member of the European Film Academy.
