　　Brief Synopsis: Donetsk is the coal-mining area of Ukraine. Here most people work for low wages in the run down mines, while others make a lot of money. No matter which side of the social divide you are on, coming from Donetsk you will almost certainly be an opponent of the Orange Revolution and a fan of the local football team, Shakhtar Donetsk. Billionaire Akhmetov invests heavily in the club, which is becoming a major European force during the season followed by the film. Yet this sporting success funded by an Oligarch fortune only seems to highlight the wider social and political stagnation of the region. Off the pitch, the outlook appears bleak...

　　Filmography: Born in 1975 and based in Berlin, Jakob studied law in Cologne and Paris and European Studies in Warsaw. He performed his civilian national service in Nizhny-Novgorod, Russia, and worked in Moscow after his studies. Since 2002 – alongside his activities as a filmmaker – he has regularly worked as a freelance consultant/ observer for international organizations in the field of elections. He was employed as an expert on the CIS for human rights organization REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERS in 2007/2008. Since 2007, he has also worked for the BERLINALE section “PANORAMA“during the festival. Jakob is fluent on Russian, English, French and Spanish. THE OTHER CHELSEA is his feature- length debut film.

　　导演简介：雅各布1975年出生，住在柏林，到科隆和巴黎学习了法律，并到华沙学习了欧洲研究。他在俄罗斯的下诺夫哥罗德服完兵役后在莫斯科参加工作。2002年起，雅各布在从事电影制作人的工作之余，又开始在国际组织中担任选举方面的特约顾问和观察员。2007年至2008年，他被聘为人类权力组织在独联体的无国界专家记者。2007年开始，他又为柏林电影节工作。雅各布能说流利的俄语、英语、法语和西班牙语。《另一个切尔西》是他的长篇电影处女作。
