　　Brief Synopsis: China is the most populous nation on Earth. It’s also one of the richest for wildlife and untamed natural beauty. Although the country has been open to tourists for a few decades, it is still relatively unknown to westerners, especially in the wild areas away from cities. Nigel Marven will spend a year in China, exploring the best reserves. He’ll uncover national parks every bit as magnificent as Yellowstone, The Everglades and the Rockies. In this awe-inspiring series he’ll showcase China’s greatest national parks and cement them forever in the minds of viewers, unveiling wildlife, scenery and stories never seen before on our screens.

　　Filmography: The presenter, producer and adventurer, Nigel Marven, studied botany at Bristol University and left at the age of 22. He began his career at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, over the following years he worked firstly as a wildlife documentary researcher for such programs as My Family and Other Animals. He then went on to produce such series as The Land of the Russian Bear, there he also enjoyed a 12-year professional collaboration with David Attenborough whom he holds in high esteem. In 1998, he moved to ITV, where, to his surprise, he found himself being asked to present wildlife documentaries as well as producing them. He has traveled to 67 countries and his programs have been shown in more than 100 countries and regions."
