内容简介：据统计，全世界博物馆和科研机构恐龙蛋化石仅存500枚，而在中国豫西山区的地下却蕴藏着数万枚恐龙蛋化石。在一个恐龙蛋化石分布密集的小山村，频频发生化石被盗挖的事件。农民老范一方面想尽办法保护恐龙蛋化石；另一方面他盼望上面早点把当地开发成旅游景区，从而给村里人带来财富。而文物专家老马出于保护和研究的目的，不同意过早地开发，他希望在当地会有更有价值的古生物发现。在农民老范、专家老马和化石盗挖者三方之间展开了一系列的矛盾和纠葛。

Brief Synopsis: According to records, there are estimated 500 fossilized dinosaur eggs procured by research facilities and museums across the world. In the Yuxie Mountain regions of China, there are tens of thousands of perfectly preserved fossilized dinosaur eggs underground. These fossils are often stolen from a small village inside this region. Local farmer Fan has attempted everything in his ability to protect these fossilized eggs; he wishes the region could be converted to a tourism area to better protect these fossils as well as bringing prosperity to the local villagers. However, fossil expert Ma disagrees with tourism development in the region; he feels the region could contain discoveries of even higher paleontological value. A chain of conflicts entangles as Fan, Ma, and a fossil thief cross path.
Filmography: Zhu Aqiang has had 20 years of experience as a TV Director and Producer, has received China TV Award for his documentary Pioneer of Rural Finance, and received Guang Zhou Documentary Festival Best Pitch title for Maoping Island. Xu Jian has had 18 years of experience in the field of TV production. He is the co-director of Maoping Island.
