　　内容简介：彝族，是位于中国大陆四川省偏远地区的少数民族，其中有个村落，因为麻风病而被称为「麻风村」，甚至被当地政府隔绝于山区角落。住在这里的病患可说完全被孤立隔绝于社会之外，没有人敢靠近。

　　然而，在这样的刻苦环境中，16位该区唯一的一所学校，大营盘小学的首届毕业生，正式诞生。首届毕业生的出现，为原本没有希望的村民开启了一条崭新的道路，一条可以骄傲行走的康庄大道。

　　而象征该族的花，索玛花，每到毕业时节，总是强韧而美丽地绽放，这也象征了这些学童所追求的生活：「努力绽放，活出自我生命的价值」。

　　诚如片名，希望藉由此片，能唤醒社会正视「麻风村」的议题， 也让大众开始关心这个「被遗忘的角落」。
